Frequently asked questions

Does the hotel have parking?
No, the hotel does not have a parking. You can park your car in public carparkings. Be aware: on weekends, school holidays and (national) holidays it is paid parking.

What are the opening hours of the reception?
The reception is open daily from 8.30AM till 01:00PM and from 02:00PM till 08:00PM (outside the season are office hours are limited but you can always send us an email) In case we are not answering the phone because of rush hour, please feel free to call again or send an email to

Can I smoke in the room?
It is forbidden to smoke in the entire hotel, so also in the rooms. With fire the fire department will automatically be informed. If this happens due to smoking, the fee of € 750.00 will be charged to the one who set of the fire alarm by smoking.

Can I bring my pet?
Yes, you can bring your pet. We allow small pets with a maximum of 10kg. The extra surcharge for the pet is € 7.50 per day.

Will the room be daily cleaned and will I get fresh new towels every day?
Your room will be provided with new towels and a small cleaning every other day. For environmental reasons, linen is changed on request. In the meantime you can always go to the reception for extra towels and toilet paper.

What time is check out?
On the day of your departure, we kindly ask you to check out before 10.30 AM.

What time can I check in?
Your room will be ready on your arrival day from 03:00PM. You can check in earlier (between opening hours reception) and leave your luggage until the room is ready. BE AWARE: because the reception is closed from 08:00pm, you cannot check in after this hour.

Where can I find the address of the hotel?
You can find the exact address of the hotel on the confirmation of your reservation.
Can I make a reservation if I am younger than the age of 25?
No, the person who makes the reservation and sign it has to be 25 years or older.

Do I receive the confirmation of my reservation right away?
Yes, your online booking will be confirmed directly by e-mail. In the confirmation  you will find the exact address of the hotel, and all the details you have booked.

Is it safe to book and pay online with my credit card?
Yes, it is 100% safe to book and pay with your credit card. All of our online pages are secured, so all of your details are safe.

Is it possible to get a baby/child bed? ( for children up to 3 years)
Yes, in most of our rooms it is possible. Please click the option on the booking form. The costs is one time € 10 Euro. Unfortunately there are no linen available.

Is it possible to get an extra bed in the room?
No, unfortunately this is not possible.

Are there any extra costs?
No, the only extra costs are if you choose to have breakfast, request baby bed or bring a pet. The costs needs to be paid extra.

Can I pay in cash?
Out of safety reasons we strongly suggest to pay by credit card or Maestro. There are of course no extra fees for using these cards.
Do I need to pre pay?
No, you can pay the entire bill at check in.
Can I reach the entrance of the hotel with my car?
Yes, you can. Except in July and August. The centre of Blankenberge is then partly forbidden for cars to drive. We advise you to park your car in the parking garage right after you drive in to the city. After parking you can easily walk to the hotel.
